Taking Time Out

So where have I been? I’ve been a bad ‘blogger’ so here come the excuses..
In all honestly, over the last few months, I have been so busy and I have just let life get in the way, but like they say ‘almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes.. including you.’

A NEW JOURNEY
At the beginning of May I moved out of my family home and into my new apartment, which has been very exciting. As you can imagine there has been a lot to do, furnishing it, planning exactly how I want my own little space to look, drooling over the home section on Selfridges and popping into every White Company in The Midlands. Learning to be organised and prepare what I’m going to be eating for the week and however millennial I may sound, just making time to enjoy the fact I can do my very own food shop in Waitrose with my coffee as I walk round.

CHAMPAGNE CHARLIE
I also turned 25 in May, so I had the celebrations with my family, the celebrations with my friends, before jetting off on a friends Hen Do to Marbella, then coming back to spend a weekend in London with another friend. I can honestly say these last few weeks have been an amazing whirlwind, I haven’t stopped (gosh I sound like my mum) apart from a Yoga session at The Shard, which ironically was very focused on taking time out and slowing down.

So although I’ve had fun, sometimes you get to that point where you just want to snuggle on your sofa with a chamomile tea and watch Love Island.. and that’s where I’m at now. I feel like March – July has been all go and I wouldn’t change any of it, but I’m really looking forward to spending the rest of the summer close to home with friends and family.

I have also tried SO many new beauty products over the last few months, I can’t wait to tell you about how I have completely switched up my beauty routine and the differences I have noticed.

So stay tuned, more regular blog posts are on their way again from now, and I promise not to leave it so long next time.
